In my previous post I have told you about Blogging and what does it gives to its visitors. However, for your Blog to become successful all you have to do is strike a perfect balance between the user interface and good content. Yes I mean what I say, if you have good content in your Blog and you don’t have a perfect interface to find out what your readers requires, then what happen? A visitor goes away form your Blog. What you have to do is you must make you readers available a few features that they can find out the information that they require form your Blog. Here I will explain couple of features that make your user interface balanced with you Blog content.

Archives: generally what happens is your Blog home page can show only few entries which mean you cannot display all your Blog entries in one single page. In Blogging only the recent entries will be displayed on your front page but the fact is there can be many entries which you have written in past couple of months or since you started your Blog. The problem is if you do not let your visitors about the past entries that are present in your Blog then your visitors may not be aware about the past entries that are present in your Blog. The worst case is they leave the Blog as they are not aware of the post that the Blog has. For this reason you must tell your reader about the no of entries that are available in the Blog for them to read by showing an archives or category section on your Blog sidebar. By doing this you are telling our readers that there are many other posts for your benefit.

Post search tool: I generally visit many Blogs daily which do not have search tool or it may be hides or placed at the bottom of the page. A post search tool is site search tool that allows the visitors to find what information they want out of the Blog by simply entering the search term and hitting find. But why most Blogs won’t put them if they have written content for the Blog readers and id the content is acceptable. Having this tool on your Blog will improve your Blog user interface and readability. So, one must make sure to have this tool on your Blog.
